World-renowned saxman Eric Marienthal
offers us the perfect soundtrack for Valentine’s Day, or any day that
love abounds, on his brand new solo release IT’S LOVE. Joining forces
with guitarist/producer extraordinaire Chuck Loeb, Eric and company
have created a truly exquisite, sophisticated collection of love
songs, featuring a star-studded cast of musicians. It’s a delightful
mix of both classic and original romantic tunes, including Brenda
Russell’s iconic “Get Here,” the album’s first radio single. Another
track I especially love is a gently contemporized version of the Duke
Ellington chestnut “In a Sentimental Mood.” Taken as a whole, this is
one of the most enjoyable sax albums I’ve heard in quite a while, from
one of the best saxophonists in contemporary jazz… a player who’s
always been very high on my list of favorites. Do yourself (and your
loved one) a favor and get your hands on a copy of Eric Marienthal’s
IT’S LOVE!

me encantan sus canciones, me intenté bajar todo su disco, pero como me habia descargado en ESET Argentina el antivirus de nod me blockeaba el cd pensando que era un virus, todavía tengo que configurarlo bien.
